Hogs for Dogs - Ride in and Roll Out with your new Road Dog.
The best rides are the ones that give back.
You love the open road. They just want a forever home.
Join us at Mike Bruno’s Northshore Harley-Davidson for a special day where horsepower meets heart—a chance to connect with fellow riders, rescue some four-legged friends, and make a real difference in our community.
Hogs for Dogs isn’t just another ride—it’s a movement of bikers stepping up for a cause that matters.
Here’s what’s going down:
Meet adoptable dogs from St. Tammany Parish Animal Center—every pup deserves a second chance.
Fuel up with hot dogs and chips from the Northshore HOG Chapter—just $5 a plate, with proceeds going directly to the shelter.
Ride out with a deal—Bring in donations (dog food, leashes, collars, toys, you name it)
Here’s what the shelter really needs:
Small bags of dry dog or cat food
Canned cat food
Kong toys, dog toys (no ropes, please)
Dog treats, cat treats
Poop bags, wee-wee pads
Kitten or puppy replacement milk (KMR / Esbilac)
Heating pads, baby wipes, Amazon gift cards
Gently used or new towels
And if your heart's in it—they’re always looking for volunteers.
18+ can volunteer anytime, and kids 12+ can help out with a guardian.
Call the shelter at 985-809-0183 or follow them on Facebook to get started.
Bonus: If you’re active duty or a veteran, your adoption fees are waived—because every hero deserves a furry best friend.
So whether you’re riding in to adopt, donate, volunteer, or just hang out with some good people and good dogs—it’s a day you’ll remember.
Roll in. Give back. Ride out with a full heart.
We’ll see you there.
